#11 – 5368-074 – Libraco of London oak library card catalog.<br>

This is a beautiful ¾” solid oak piece with brass pulls. It stands 41 ½” tall 18 ¾” wide and 39 ¼” in length. It sits on a separate frame that is 29″ off the ground with six nicely tapered square legs (2 ¼” to 1 ¾” taper). The drawers are also made from oak and are 15 ½” long x 5 ¾” wide x 3 ¾” deep and holds card that are 3 ¼” x 5″. The top is secured by beautiful dovetails that give this piece some real character. The wood that separates the drawers is ½” solid oak and the drawer fronts are constructed of ¾” solid oak. The drawers are equipped with brass pulls and name slots that measure 1″x 2″. Inside each drawer opening is a small metal rocker that prevents the drawers from being pulled all the way out until that metal rocker is moved. Inside the drawer in a movable wood slider with a knurled brass thumbscrew to adjust the amount of cards the drawer will hold.

The wood that separates the drawers is ½” solid oak and the drawer fronts are constructed of ¾” solid oak. The drawers are equipped with brass pills and name slots that measure 1″x 2″. Inside each drawer opening is a small metal rocker that prevents the drawers from being pulled all the way out until that metal rocker is moved. #6 – Irish Pony cart in very good condition. The seat needs a little fixing.

Wheels are 34” dia with axle 17” off the ground. With  shafts straight out horizontal the distance is 20” from the ground. The tips could easily be lifted to 30” and still be very functional. Wheels are nice and tight and in good condition with rubber vulcanized on steel rims. The wood overall is sound.

#7 – Single horse cart in good condition. Wheels are 36” dia with axle 18” off the ground. The shaft is 36” off ground in horizontal position. Seat is pretty good except for one corner of the back rest where sewing is coming apart for a couple of inches. The wheels are tight and sound as is the wood in the entire cart.  .

#14 – Enclosed Amish Horse Buggy that originated fromPennsylvania. Is in very good condition. Nice tight wheels and nice upholstered front and rear seats. Comes with head lights that have tail lights built into them plus other tail lights and signal lights. Also has front hydraulic brakes ( haven’t checked how they are working). Rear wheels are 42” dia and front wheels are 36” dia. Nice green velvety material on seats and walls. A little wear spot on front seat. The glass is all good.

#55 –  Old Country Wooden dough bowl on a custom built rod iron stand. This bowl was used to place flower into, then add water to make bread dough. #67 – 6079 – 0579  –    1920’s Doctors buggy for a single horse. This is a very sound buggy and all it needs is a horse hooked up to it and it’s ready to go for a ride. The buggy body is 60″ long x 28″ wide. o/o of seat back is 37″. o/o of front axel is 64″. Front wheels are 36″ dia. and rear wheels are 40″ dia. The shaft is sound along with the rest of the wood except for one spot in the floor that had a water drip.

#68 – 5869 – 0012  –  1900’s cast iron cauldron off an old farm on the prairies. These big old cauldrons were used for a varity of jobs. Main purpose was to heat water and place in the old tractor during winter days before starting it. This prevented the tractor to instantly freeze up plus of course making it easy to start. This is one of the largest cauldron I have run accross measuring 33″ dia x 24″ deep. I am not sure but my guess is that it’s capacity is about 45 gallons. The two lifting/holding  knobs located on each side on top are in good condition. There are two 1/4″ dia holes that have been drilled in bottom for draining purposes. There are no cracks or brakes and is in very nice condition. There is a bit of rust showing which is a common trait of these cauldrons.

#69 – 5080-0002 – Beautifull antique oakBelgiumdoll crib. The head and foot board are bolted to the side rails. Easily assembled and disassembled. The foot board has barley twist on each side and a nice statue of a deer glued on. The overall size is 60′ x 29″. The spacing between the rail uprights is 3.25″. Does not come with bottom or mattress.

#70 – 5533-00121 – Unbelieveable rare 1921 – 36 gal crock made by “DOULTON” of “ENGLAND”. These crocks (beer jars) were made in 1921 to deliver beer to the different pubs but only Watneys inLondonand The Hull Brewery tried out the idea. These crocks (beer jars) were made in four sizes – 18, 36, 54 & 108 gallons. Comes as follows;

 – size is Approx. 24″ dia X 40″ high

 – weighs 275 lbs

 – top opening = 11″ I.D.  – 15″ O.D.

 – drain at bottom with brass shut off valve

 – iron band at the top with 4 screw-downs attached. Was used for a lid which is missing.

This crock has never been cracked or broken and is in very good condition for it’s size and age. There are chips out of the bottom outer edge and also some from the top lip. I tryed to show them in the pictures. Also where the drain spiget is there are a couple of chips on the surface. The chips by the drain are there – I don’t think they would effect holding liquid. The lid is missing as is the guage. I have seen a lot of crocks in my life time, but never such a unique one as this one. I have been made aware of the history of these crocks (jars) by a fine gentleman fromEnglandthat visited a wine makers musieum in that country last year and shared the last two pictures with one giving a history of these crocks. #72 –  0059 –   Ca 1890 Victorian Dresser table. Has one center mirror and two swing side mirrors with beveled glass. Has one long drawer at bottom and three smaller drawers on each side. The upper corner sections have two little drawers each and a small bevelled inset mirror in each. there are two pulls that are missing. A truly spectacular piece of furniture. Has inlaid birdseye wallnut into a darker wallnut background. Measures 78″W x 21″D x 67″H.. A very exquisite piece of furniture that would look good in any room. .

#76 – 5793 – 0057 –  1920’s Rickshaw that originated fromChina. This Rickshaw was specially brought over fromChinato do a film shoot and I purchased it from a production company. It measures 98″ long and is 34″ wide at the axle. The body is 23″ wide. Seat is 20″ wide. Wheels are made of wood with a metal ring on the outside. Wheels are 26″ in dia. The arms are made of wood as is the frame work. The body is made of wood overlaid with tin. The seat and dash is vinyl finish. The floor matt and cover is made of a bamboo matting. The unit itself is of a crude construction – remenisent of it’s time but very beautifull in it’s own way. Would make a gorgeous display piece. #78 – 1008 – 0002 – Santa Sleigh convertible. This sleigh is a very good restorable item. The sleigh is pretty sound with wood and metal all being there. The wooden slats for the convertible cover is there along with a portion of the original canvas. This sleigh when restored would look just like the one that Santa rides in on a lot of the Christmas cards.

#80 – 6150 – 0002    Solid Steel roller that is approx 36” dia x approx 7’-0” long. The weight is very heavy – my guess about 5000 lbs. This roller is one of 12 (some being a little smaller) that originated From “Akers International” inSweden. These rollers are brand new still in the original shipping crates. These rollers were being shipped fromSwedentoKorea, somehow going throughCanadianPortofVancouver. These were all seized by Canadian Customs (why I don’t know) and were sold through government recovery auction where I purchased them. The steel used in these rollers are of the most top grade there is. You just tap them with a metal object and they have a high pitch ring to them.  These rollers were made for rolling and forming metal. I am open to offers. .

#81 – 5830 – 057 –  Pre-owned electric dish sterilizer / warmer called “Hatch”. Manufactured by “Bev Hatch Industries Limited” of “Guelph,Ontario.” Model is # “AFH-M-1222″ . This unit is made of stainless steel and is in very good condition. Castor rollers are good and has a rubber bumper on lower edge of unit. Units exterior measurements are  27″ x 30″ x 39” and weighs 250 lbs.

#82 –5741-0572 –  – 1920’s cast iron wood / coal burning cook stove called “Jubilee”. Very nice stove in harvest gold enamel porcelain and nickle on cast iron. Stove comes as follows;

This is a beautifull stove that needs some polishing of the nickle. The enamel porcelain has a few nicks but is very good for it’s age scoring a 9.5 out of a 10.

#83 – 5734 – 00001 – Stove “Master Climax”  – Early 1900’s old cast iron wood / coal cook stove. Unit manufactured by “Guelph Stove Co” of “Guelph, Ont.” This is a very nice piece that dates back many years and truly brings back memories of our baby – boomer youth days. Unit comes as follows:

 – size is 48″W x 24″deep x 62″H ( add 5″ to depth measurement for smoke stack on rear

 – comes with white enamel porcelain front doors and oven door along with stove back. All enamel is very very nice except for a spot on stove back about 1″x1.5″

 – Stove top is exceptionally nice and clean. Has 6 burner plates – 1 has 2 parts to it and 5 are one piece plates.

 – comes with lifting handle

 – on right side is located a water reservoir with access lid on top of stove. Don’t know if leaks as I haven’t check it out.

 – Oven is good and has one removable rack. Oven door works very freely with good spring load. Also has a tempurature gauge in front of door.

 – On left side / top there is a small flip up door to allow small things to be thrown into burner compartment.

 – Has 2 sliding air draft vents – one on the left side and the other located in the front down by ash pan

 – Has sliding smoke damper control on top/rear  of stove

 – Inside of fire box looks good – good fire grates and good castings on side of fire box.

 – Has 4″ fire box extension out rear of stove allowing longer wood to be used

 – Nice warming oven with nice working door that folds down

 – Towel rack that is removable on front of stove

 – Along bottom seam in part of the front bottom and a short piece on right bottom there is a bit of rusting through but nothing major. Wouldn’t effect preformance.

 – very sound and strong base

This is a great stove that is pretty sound and looks great. Just needs the nickle to be polished. Would brighten up any kitchen giving it a real Martha Stewart setting.

#84 – 5703 – 00501 – 1920’s cast iron cook stove from the good old prairies. This stove is a “McClary’s” and is very nice. There is white enamel porcellaine on it  that has some bumps and bruises but for the most part is pretty good.  The nickle plating is weathered and would need to be replated to make new looking again. I tryed to show as much as I could in all the pictures. Burning box is not burnt out. This stove burns wood or coal. Nice stove pipe with a damper built in (called fuel saver).  Has a water reservoir at end that has been replaced with a copper tank – don’t know if it leaks or not. Unit has a nice upper warming oven with a good working door. I was told that this stove is a 1922 model but I have no way of corroberating this. The base is sturdy and sound.  On the very top, there is a small corner molding missing. If you didn’t know about it you wouldn’t even notice. The working top  of the stove is nice. Not all rusted. One round iron lid has a heat crack. Comes with the original lid-lifter. Diamentions are 49″ wide x 30″ deep x 64″ high. Shipping weight is 750 lbs.

The lower front panel where treble switches are located was damaged and fixed. Cosmetic only – does not effect sound or performance. Some of the keys may need tuning. The “Crucianelli” was built by “Pancordion Inc” which was one of the better manufacturers. This accordion is a dry tuned instrument. Comes with hard case.

#94 – 6945 – 00052  A very unique 1920’s horse drawn library wagon. This wagon was used to travel from town to town on the prairies like the Bookmobile is used in some areas today. This particular unit was on display in Vancouver, B.C., Canadaat it’s 1986 World Expo. Very sound wheels as is the whole unit.

There are little nicks here and there but by and large it is in very nice condition. The stirrups do not match and one needs to be attached. This units base is a little rusty but very sound. A ½ hour with a spray boom would make it like new. Unit is close to 6’-0” long and sits about 58” high. This particular unit is faster than most rides and would not recommend for young children.
